Uncle Wedding - Muar

Just selected few photos taken during the wedding dinner at Muar. Dinner start sharp 8pm which hardly see this practice over KL as people always not punctual.

OMG, can you spot the engagement ring and also the wedding ring. The wedding ring diamond so big. Rich man. Uncle next time can present one for me as my birthday gift?

Is About Works

When you know there is a holiday coming soon, you will feel happy and jump like kid for the celebration. At the same time, when turn your face down by looking at the documents next to you, is kind of headache and suffering. You know there got a little mountain appear on the table, out of suddenly it comes no where. You now are putting up the speed (VPower) try to finish all on time before the holiday come but no matter how fast the speed are, the mountain just keep growing like a ball. It’s really annoying and feel want to smash the documents away, out of my view so I can relax and enjoying the waiting time for the holiday come.

But I know this won't be happen on me....

9:45am, is just the beginning and there still lots of space to grow. How am I suppose to fight until 5:30pm.

Muar Sky + Antenna

Seriously, nothing special or different for the sky of Muar and KL. Is the same, blue sky with white cloud. But if you notice, you will find out most of the house will have a very long antenna on the roof. The height of the antenna is around 2 storey house. According to my uncle, the antenna is use to receive the Singapore programs and is FOC. I can't believe it even at Muar also can do this, what I know is, I can find all the long antenna at Johor Bharu site (more near to Singapore). Really envy because can watch the Singapore dramas with FOC.

My Nike

For my whole Muar trip, I just managed to get myself a red Nike Shoe. Is a kind of tired during this trip as we spend most of the time eat and sleep (bride's parent belanja ma). However I meet up with my friend, Cherrie and her husband and ofcourse also the cute little princess Daphne.

Actually at the last day, I spotted few bontique shops. The display dress super pretty but I just miss the chance of trying those dress because I was inside my friend car and rush back for my uncle dinner....T__T

My Uncle Wedding Betrothal Gifts Day

Place: Muar
Wake up at 7:30am, after a nice shower, prepare ourself as need to sent all the wedding betrothal gifts to the bride's house.
But before that, let me take some photos first.


The Red Ribbon. I like the word "喜", make me feel happy.

After the breakfast, sharp 9am reach the bride's house.


Do you know what is inside the plastic bag, actually all is the wedding pastries. 50boxes, no joke.


Brian to hot until used the boxes to cover his face. Next to him is my uncle and he is the groom.

What is Wedding Betrothal Gifts Day?

The Wedding Betrothal Gifts Day is one of the tradition among the chinese who are plan for married soon. The date will specially selected base on the birth day and time between the groom and the bride. So can present all the gifts on a auspicious date. When the day come, the groom will deliver the betrothal gifts together with his family. Normally is 2 weeks or 1 week before the actual wedding date. After the ceremory, the bride's parent will give back some gifts to the groom site and then they will bring along the wedding card and pastries give to thier relatives.
